Interior design of retail spaces is more than just aesthetics — it directly impacts commercial performance. In beautifully designed, comfortable stores, customers linger longer, engage more deeply, and are more likely to make a purchase. That’s why a significant portion of our designer ceiling projects is dedicated to retail interiors, showrooms, and shopping centers.
Our final post of the year features a standout example of this approach — the boutique Mesh’n’flesh, located near Patriarch's Ponds in Moscow (8 Bolshoy Patriarshy Lane, Bldg. 1).
The textured Wave ceiling®, made of our signature material Drop Paper®, was designed by Fruit Design Studio and immediately draws attention — even from the street, through the storefront window!
The composition is minimal yet highly expressive. The ceiling’s sculptural form enhances the boutique’s atmosphere and harmonizes with its carefully curated interior. The interplay of unevenly positioned spotlights creates dramatic highlights and shadows, emphasizing the ceiling’s depth while maintaining excellent overall illumination.
Thanks to the light-diffusing and translucent nature of Drop Paper®, soft, neutral lighting passes through the installation effortlessly — adding both ambience and functionality.
