In 2015 we published a project announcement called "Northern Lights", where we featured a project of Drop Stripe® decorative ceiling in a new shopping/commercial center in Moscow.
This year we were approached by the architectural design studio ASHE Home from Ufa.
They developed a suspended decorative system in the interior of the Ultra movie theater in Ufa. The project included a suspended decorative system, consisting of a slatted metal frame with inserted wooden elements. Due to safety requirements, such a system could not be installed in the lobby of the theater.
We were asked to propose a different solution.
Admittedly, as soon as we saw the rendering of the design project, it was obvious to us that the Northern Lights of Drop Stripe ceiling was going to break new ground!
We proposed a rendering and made the ceiling system design from our non-combustible DropPaper® material.
Finally, last week, the installation was completed.
Unfortunately, the facility is unfinished and we don't have the final photos. But we can lift the curtains just enough to share our emotions with you.
To be honest: we were shocked by the result!
Important: the project was not made of the usual white color, we used the color Dune - an unbelievably elegant and deep color.
