First in Russia! Paper ceiling architecture in humid areas 30 January 2020

So, finally, we have done it! For the first time in Russia, we have finished decorating two objects where decorative paper ceilings were used in humid areas!

Sports and Health Centers in Moscow:

Comfortable family wellness club on Fadeeva Street 4, pp. 1, in the Italian Quarter estate and a fashionable place for an active audience on Myasnitskaya Street, 35 ("Sports and Fitness Center 35").

The authors and ideologists of the project are Marina Orekhova, leading architect-designer, GUTA DEVELOPMENT and Veronika Prodanova.

In the Wellness Center the spa zone with a Jacuzzi is designed with Wave ceiling® decorative ceilings, on Myasnitskaya Street last week we finished a global project of Drop Stripe® suspended ceiling in the pool area. So far there are only working photos of the pool area, and we will only open the curtain just a tiny bit with what the pool will look like, but soon you will see the photos of the working object!

We would like to note that we have often been approached with ceiling design projects in swimming pool areas, but this is the first large-scale work in a humid area with a sports theme after a successful cooperation with a World Class fitness club in Russia.

The ceilings are made of non-woven material Drop Paper® 60, which has good characteristics for meeting fire requirements (Fire certificate M1) and, due to the presence of latex in its composition, does not deform and does not lose its shape when used in humid areas.  We know the successful experience of using this material in Brunei, where it is almost 100% humidity constantly.  And now we are happy to share our experience in spas and swimming pools! We are pushing the boundaries of paper ceilings and are looking forward to exciting new projects! Let's make our world more beautiful! We will be happy to assist you in doing so!
