We’re excited to share our latest project — a ceiling installation for Onday, a newly opened coffee shop located at 39 General Dorokhov Avenue, Building 2A, Moscow.
This new gastronomic space, founded by Maria Isaeva, is built around the concept of coffee — every element of the interior references its taste, aroma, and culture. Colors, textures, shapes — everything evokes coffee.
The interior features a light color palette, complemented by rich, coffee-inspired accents. Overhead floats our Drop Stripe® ceiling installation, made of Drop Paper® architectural paper. Its airy lamellas curve gently, softening and enhancing the spatial atmosphere.
According to the designers of the project — KIDZ Studio — the snow-white art object alludes to drip coffee bags. Viewed differently, the ceiling sculpture may remind one of whipped milk foam crowning a cappuccino.
At the core of the ceiling installation is a curved aluminum profile that sets the rhythm of the entire composition. Lamellas of varying heights (ranging from 250 to 2008 mm) are suspended in an intentionally irregular pattern. The flowing dynamics of the structure guide visitors from the entrance area toward the coffee tables, creating a soft visual pathway.
