In addition to its own stand № 57, Paper Design®️ took part in the creation of the Trend Room “Interpretation” zone, developed by AQ.
The concept was to create a unique experience that merges digital and physical space. As a result, an expressive lounge area emerged, featuring atmospheric lighting based on dimmable stalactite light columns.
Our company was responsible for the decorative design of these columns. The frames were wrapped in translucent, fire-resistant Drop Paper®️ material, which created a glowing effect that emphasized the natural texture of stalactites.
Technological, emotional, and contemporary — that's how Trend Room №16 by AQ is remembered, created in collaboration with Paper Design®️, Pridex, Anima Technologies, MDM-Light, and Anker Industrial Group.
We propose using a similar glowing column technology in architectural and interior design projects.
It is especially effective when there is a need to:
• conceal load-bearing or structural columns,
• decorate vertical frame elements,
• integrate other structural building components into the interior.
The translucent, fire-resistant Drop Paper®️ material not only hides engineering elements but transforms them into expressive lighting accents that enhance the space’s aesthetics.
