When the S+S Studio (Sundukovy Sisters) designed the interior of Escape Restaurant (8 Verkhne-Volzhskaya Embankment, Nizhny Novgorod), they merged functionality with artistic detailing, weaving every element into one holistic concept.
And the centerpiece? The architectural paper ceiling that immediately captures attention. Its flowing, wave-like form brings a sense of motion and airiness, perfectly echoing the nearby Volga River. Each lamella adds rhythm, depth, and a tactile quality, making the ceiling not just decor — but storytelling in design.
